"Honor" and "Tradition" are two versions of a photo taken May 31, 2021 at Memorial Day services in Ventnor City, New Jersey by Shaun R. Smith. All proceeds will be donated to VFW Post 215 in Ventnor. 

Veterans of Foreign Wars Greater Absecon Island Post 215 is located at 601 N. Dorset Avenue in Ventnor City, New Jersey.  The building itself was built as a VFW Post by veterans of World War I and World War II in the early 50s. 

It was rebuilt by members after Hurricane Sandy and reopened in 2013 and was re-chartered as a result of the merger of the Atlantic City formerly Lt. J. Willis Gale Post 215 and the Ventnor formerly Turner-Bunting-Durkin Post 3361. The Post hall was dedicated to Russell T. Smith (no relation) former VFW District 16 Commander, Post Commander and 51 years as the Post Quartermaster and active member of the Ventnor City community.
